From The Founders: 

Volqa was founded on the steadfast belief that technology is the key to unlocking boundless potential. Throughout history, each significant technological leap has inevitably expanded the horizons of commerce, life experiences, and human connections. Today, just under 16 years since the release of the Bitcoin whitepaper, we believe the next technological wave is rising rapidly - the era of Web3. 

While Bitcoin and the promising concept of Web3 have been subjects of discussion for years, much of the attention and energy has been directed towards decentralization, developer community and some tribalism surrounding cryptocurrency and blockchain. At Volqa, although we are standing on the foundation built by the Web3 community, our focus diverges. Today, there is a fundamental shift happening in how people purchase, and consequently own various types of assets. This does not only include the familiar physical assets such as real estate and digital assets such as songs; but experiential and conceptual assets such as rentals, tickets, and memberships. These are the spaces that Volqa is intent to not only operate in, but leave our mark on the world. 

At the very core of our vision is the idea that asset ownership should be simple, and as such, asset transaction and usage should also be simple. The ideals of liquidity, transparency and accessibility are what Web3 excels at. For this reason, we have gravitated towards opportunities in the travel industry and the struggles of the Timeshare industry. The Timeshare or Fractionalized Ownership concept, at its heart, is an accommodating balance between travel and vacation ownership. And yet, the experience of purchasing, selling or even owning a Timeshare isn’t itself accommodating. In our initial mission, we aim to leverage Web3 and redefine the process by which Timeshares are transacted, and thereby improve the way they are owned and enjoyed. 

We will iterate; we will innovate; we will deliver; and we will unlock new and exciting experiences that Web3 will make possible. We are thrilled to embark on this adventure with you!
